Picture Puzzle is a puzzle game which is very similar to Picross. The goal of the game is to reveal the hidden picture, using the numbers along the sides of the grid to determine how many squares each line and column is to have.
Picture Puzzle has over 200 puzzles which are split into 5×5, 10×10, and 15×15 grids.
There are sixty-four identical game pieces called disks (often spelled “discs”), which are light on one side and dark on the other.
Players take turns placing disks on the board with their assigned color facing up. During a play, any disks of the opponent’s color that are in a straight line and bounded by the disk just placed and another disk of the current player’s color are turned over to the current player’s color.
The objective of the game is to have the majority of disks turned to display one’s color when the last playable empty square is filled.
In single-player mode you make your way through Tournament Mode, competing against eight increasingly more difficult opponents. You can take an’Ability Level Test’ which is designed to grade you based on your standard of play. If you are just starting out you can try the ‘Reversi Lesson’ which provides ten short sessions to teach you the basics of the game.
There’s a ‘Free Play’ mode where you can see all the moves that are available. And then there is a two-player mode which is accessible via the link cable.
The player has the ability to select between playing as Lolo or Lala in the levels. Neither character has any advantage over the other, however, the only difference being in the tutorial levels.
Two changes to the gameplay included the crumbling bridge, which is a bridge that can only be crossed two times before it crumbles into nothingness. The other change was a new monster called Moby. Mobies only appear in the underwater levels and use a line of sight attack that sucks Lolo in towards them. Though not directly a fatal attack, it can cause Lolo to get stuck and have to restart the room.
When pressing select to give up, Lolo does not actually die this time. Instead, a short “give up” tune plays and the level restarts. Pressing Start will return the player to the overworld map. Pressing Start again reveals the password to that point in the game. Adventures of Lolo 3 uses 16-character passwords instead of four-character ones.
The game features a total of 17 levels with 100 different puzzle rooms, nine boss rooms, and ten training rooms. Levels 3, 13, and 17 have ten rooms each. The other levels only have five rooms. Levels 4–7, 9-12, and 17 have a boss at the end. The two big trees on the overworld map are where the training rooms are, each tree having five rooms each.
Gameplay is virtually identical to the previous Adventures of Lolo and Eggerland: Sōzō e no Tabidachi. Some of the monster graphics were drawn differently, mainly Gol, Rocky, Skull, Medusa, and Don Medusa. Other differences include new puzzles and greater difficulty, with some puzzles taken from the older games in the Eggerland series.
The game features a total of 50 different puzzle rooms; the player faces King Egger at the end. Also featured are four hidden Pro puzzle rooms, which are available for players who want to try very challenging rooms.[2][3]
The Japanese version has mostly different and more difficult levels compared to the North American and European release.
The player assumes the role of Lolo, a round anthropomorphic creature. Lolo attempts to rescue Princess Lala, who has been kidnapped by the evil King Egger. Lolo travels to Egger’s castle, with 50 rooms arranged in 10 floors of five. Within each room, Lolo must collect several hearts in order to open a treasure chest and collect the gem inside, which will open the exit to the next room or floor. The player must navigate the obstacles in each room and avoid or neutralize several different types of enemies, which vary by movement and attack pattern. All enemies disappear once Lolo picks up the gem.
The player can move, slide certain blocks around the screen, and fire a limited number of shots at enemies. When an enemy is shot, it becomes encased in an egg for a short time; this can be pushed to a new location, used as a bridge to cross water, or shot again to make it disappear temporarily. Lolo can gain other powers on specific screens, such as the ability to smash rocks or build a bridge. Some enemies are not affected by Lolo’s shots.
One life is lost whenever Lolo is shot or touched by certain enemies. Others will not kill him, but can impede his movement by standing still or freezing in place when touched. The player can restart a screen at any time, at the cost of one life.
Shanghai Mini has three game modes: Classic Mode, Tournament Mode, Dynasty Mode.
Classic
-There is no time limit in the classic game of Shanghai.
When you cannot find any tiles to match during a game, call up the menu using the Option button to find a removable tile, return to your previous move, change the tile layout, or change the game difficulty.
Tournament Mode
-This mode has 12 continuous stages for you to challenge.
There are time time limits to each stage. A “Game Over” will occur if you become “Deadlocked” during the play of the game, or all tiles are not matched within the time limit.
There is a story screen for each of the stages. Press the A button to scroll through the message text on the story screen.
Dynasty Mode
-This mode allows you to play against the computer or challenge a friend. Use power tiles to hinder your opponent. The first player to clear their tiles is the winner.
VS. Mode
-This is basically the 2 player mode of the game.

The player’s perspective is that of looking down into a three-dimensional rectangular pit. Polycube blocks of various shapes appear, one at a time, and fall slowly toward the bottom of the pit. The player can use three buttons to rotate the block around any of the three coordinate axes, and can also maneuver the block horizontally and vertically with a joystick.
Once any part of a block comes to rest on the floor of the pit or in contact with an already-placed cube, it freezes in place and can no longer be moved.
The player can press a button on the joystick to quickly drop a block. Once a solid layer of cubes is formed with no gaps (a “face”), it disappears and all cubes above it drop toward the bottom of the pit to fill the space. Completing multiple faces with a single block awards higher scores, and the player earns a “Block Out” bonus for completely emptying the pit. A set number of faces must be completed in order to end each round.
As the game progresses, the blocks begin to drop faster, the dimensions of the pit change from round to round, and differently-shaped blocks begin to appear. A bonus stage is played after every fifth round, in which the player has 30 seconds to form as many faces as possible in a 2×2 pit. The game ends if the blocks stack up to the top of the pit, with the exception of the bonus stages; in the latter case, the stage ends immediately and the player advances to the next round.
The game allows head-to-head competition between two players, each of whom has their own pit and blocks. When one player completes a face, all the cubes in the opponent’s pit are raised by one level. To win a round, a player must either be the first to complete a set number of faces or must force their opponent’s cubes to stack up to the top of the pit.
A stack of random colored bubbles descend from the top, and a player is defeated when a bubble hits the bottom. Bubbles can be picked up and dropped by the player’s clown at the bottom, and are destroyed when three or more of the same color are put together on a single column.
Chains are formed either when a single drop caused a chain reaction, or when more than one group of bubbles is destroyed in quick succession. The game is normally played with two players, and chains cause the opponent’s stack to descend faster.
There are 24 characters, all but the Black Pierrot being named after a tarot card. Different characters have different attack patterns.
The columns of the opponent’s stack will descend at different rates relative to each other depending on the character chosen.
This causes a disjunction of colors that may make it more difficult for the other player to clear their stack. For example, with the character Devil, all the columns will descend at the same rate, whereas with Sun, the middle columns will descend faster than the others.
The goal of Delta Warp is to gather all the ‘Delta Power units’ as quickly as possible.
You navigate your ‘Delta’ around the stage, changing its colour between white and black to match the colour of the Delta Power unit. Moving across the stage with the joystick will cause the Delta’s colour to alternate with each space.
You can press the A or B buttons to rotate the player-unit around the diamond patterns that make up the stage without the colour changing.
In addition to the game’s one hundred stages, there is also a level editor which allows you to create your own stages and trade them with others.
A two-player mode is also available by using the link cable.
Puzzle Link 2 is a tile-matching game in which the player must clear away blocks which occupy some of a 9×10 block grid.
There are three tile skins that the player can choose for the standard blocks .
Puzzle Link 2 once again features the Normal, Clear, and Battle modes from the original. Puzzle Link 2 also features two new modes: an Endless mode and a Card mode.
